Ok, Scott, I took your advice and downloaded a few tracks from the Piper at the Gates of Dawn album like you said and yes it works in the club. Hey, do you know the reference for that? It’s funny because my friend and I are big fans of Wind in the Willows and the Piper at the Gates of Dawn chapter is one of her most favourite pieces so when you mentioned it was the name of a Pink Floyd album, I had to try it.

I wouldn’t really know how to correctly finish that sentence were I ever going to write it! No, I’m not taking my leave of good old SL BUT I am heading out to new worlds (this afternoon or later this evening) as I just got my Blue Mars beta tester invitation which I signed up for months and months ago. It’s quite exciting actually. I will have to re-read (read “read”) the TOS I agreed to to see if I can post pictures. I hope the people at Avatar Reality realize I am going to have to repartition my laptop drive and install Vista on it simply to play their game (I tried installing it under Wine, and, as I anticipated, there was no way it was going to do it!) Well, I’m off to get more RAM.

le update: Well, my laptop doesn’t meet minimum requirements in the video department to run Blue Mars. I doubt it will even start but I will try nonetheless. And I just discovered dead pixels on my LCD. (( I am not so happy any more.

Building Antigrav that is! Ok, due diligence time, I am not really done because nothing is *ever* done if you suffer from Obsessive Building Compulsion Disorder but you know what I mean. The visual part of it is finished in the sense that I have achieved perfection as is obvious from the picture below (which is copyrighted up the ying-yang so don’t even bother looking at it or my lawyers will rip out your visual cortex.)

I have loads of scripting to do now to make the club doubleplusgood. The secret words for this phase are “BEAT DETECTION” and consider yourselves under an NDA for having read that sentence (my oh my, I’m feeling legalistic today!)

So, there are two ways you can experience the wonder that is antigrav (I’ve had two complete strangers tell me it’s the coolest thing they ever saw in SL; take that Svarga!) The first is for me to download GLC and make a vidcap for all you lazy butts *or* you could COME VISIT ME!

Hmmm, what’s cool is the entire thing is 118 prims and most of those are used by the fan lasers (21 prims * 4 units) making the club itself a mere 34 prims! (thanks to the 5 megaprims which constitute the entire “structure”).
